Practice and Build On the Voice Acting Skills and Techniques Learned in VO 101 in a Fun, Supportive Studio Setting
A Plus Voice Overs' Voice Acting Level 2 Classes are Limited in Size to assure you more hands on learning experience, with more booth time in front of the mic, recording your voice overs.
VOICE OVER LEVEL 2 - 4 WEEK COURSE
PREREQUISITE
The prerequisite for this class is the VO 101 Class, or an equivalent class from another voice acting school, or be a current voice actor who is routinely auditioning.
FOCUS OF VO LEVEL 2 CLASS
The focus of this Level 2 Class is to build on and practice the techniques you learned in the VO 101 Class.
You'll continue to practice and learn:
SCRIPTS
You will be provided scripts to work on in each class, but you are also welcome to bring in your own scripts that you want to work on. These may be scripts you are currently auditioning for or are using to assemble your VO Demo or Samples.
You will have the choice of working on Commercial, Character, Narration, or Audiobook scripts, depending on your individual focus.
FUN SUPPORTIVE GROUP
There will be up to 6 voice actors in each class. Take advantage of learning from and networking with each other. You can easily learn new ideas and techniques for your VO delivery just be hearing others in the booth, listening to their choices, and applying those ideas to your reads.
RECORDED RAW AUDIO
Your time in the booth will be recorded, with the unedited raw audio files provided to you. You will have at least 2 recording sessions in the booth each class in a full class.
WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR
All your voice over work in the booth is recorded for your use. Audio will be uploaded to a shared folder, or bring USB thumb/hard drives.

- Confidently Breaking Down voice over copy and analyzing your script to make it sound believable and authentic
- Interpreting your voice over character in a script
- Choosing and Delivering 2 unique style takes for a script to offer range and a variety of options for a casting director.
- A greater emphasis on choosing the correct tonality, pacing, and word emphasis for a script or character.
- Refining your signature voice that's authentic for you.
- Taking direction and making adjustments from a booth director during recording sessions.
